Description The Company is in the niche market of manufacturing custom service and utility truck bodies for both regional fleets and individuals. The Company has been under its current ownership since 1997. It designs, engineers, and produces high quality, specialty truck bodies to meet specific customer requirements. These highly engineered bodies are produced in limited quantity. It also offers 20 base models of truck bodies designed to fit either A_ or 1 ton chassis. The truck bodies manufactured are held to stringent quality standards meant to provide long life and dependable service from the product. The Company is the recipient of numerous awards for quality and customer satisfaction.
The Company operates from a modern 16,000 SF leased facility on 1.5 acres with convenient freeway access. Sales and Marketing is accomplished under the direction of a sales manager, two inside sales-engineers, and two outside sales representatives. Customers include regional utility companies (gas, water, electric, cable, etc.), state and local governments, and other fleet operators. Most sales are made through commercial truck dealers that procure the chassis used in the manufacture of the completed vehicle.
The management team is highly experienced and well-tenured, enabling the business to operate independently of the ownership. Overall, The Company employs 14 people in management/administration and additional 65 hourly workers in production, including six ''lead men'' in each of the functional production departments.
