We own, develop and support our own medical billing system. Our target customers are mid to large sized companies in the medical billing field. There are several to dozens of potential customers in each and every city across the USA.
This company has been in business for over 20 years with customers nation-wide. The company can be physically anywhere in the world and our current inventory and equipment is minimal and can be relocated with ease. Our recievables have averaged around $350,000 for the past 5 years. In the years beyond that our A/R ranged well over $500,000.
The company has downsized to a skeleton crew over the past 7 years due to the general economy. I have done absolutely no marketing or sales in over 5 years. As a result our clientbase has aged and has few if any questions on the system requiring minimal support. Our customers pay monthly maintenance and continue to be pleased with the systems function.
However, we are poised to restart sales and marketing once again. Our new Client-side interface is 95% complete wich will give our product a new face-lift and some new features. With sales going normally the A/R will be much closer to $400,000 annually and should exceed that in a few years growth.
I will sell the company outright for $450,000 in cash and/or other appropriate equities. This price includes 3 months training and assistance for 6 hours daily, 4 days per week. In addition, I will consider selling 50% to a Managing Partner with $1 for $1 compensation. I would supply training and assistance for 3 months, same as above. At the end of which you would be given the reigns and I would become a silent partner, available only for general questions and guidance but otherwise retired.
