Description Medical clinic (building and practice both are up for sale) in practice for 20 years as a solo general practitioner. This year we turned it in to a multi-specialty clinic by adding Dental, Cosmetic (Laser, Botox, Mesotherapy, Sclerotherapy, Restylane, hair removal, and more), chiropractic, podiatry, & pain management, and we are plannig to add peds, gyn, and GI.
We see about 30 patients a day WITHOUT appointments. We do procedures like circumcision, suturing lacerations, and removing foregin bodies, biopsies, and lesion removals (will train you if needed). We do testing for DMV and immigration. Immigration does not grant any mroe licenses for testing to any physicians in Los Angeles anymore, so this is highly cuvetted and lucrative as patients pay cash (aobut $300 per exam). We do about 50+ exams per month.
Copays alone are about $750-1,200 per DAY, cash. Add to that the deductibles, income from dental, cosmetic, and other specialties and you see that this is a very high income practice. This would be ideal for a general / family practitioner or an internist, especialy if the spouse is a chiropractor or a dentist.
In the past few months we have upgraded the building and the equipment: New floors, cabinets, plasma TV in waiting room, computers and networking, new high density filing system (HIPAA compliant), office equipment, ECG, two dental operatories and more, about $400,000 in upgrades.
