Reason for Sale Death of the owner.
Description This is a 1000 ha farm for sale, located between Baranivka and Novograd Volynsk in Zhytomyr Oblast, Ukraine. Since May 2005 this estate has been cultivated by a foreign farmer aged 53, who died suddenly in May 2009 in Ukraine. This leased farm has been under his management since May 2005. Leases agreement run to May 2010, and are extendable by mutual agreement.
The whole farm has been cleared for farming between winter 2005 and spring 2006. The first harvest was completed on 50% of the farm. Most of the farm has been cultivated in 2007. And 2/3 of the surface in 2008 and 2009.
For 2009 the seeded surfaces are by nature: Total seeded Canola 635. Oat 218. Barley 46. Winter wheat 86. 285 Area ha. Leases are the equivalent of 400 kg of wheat per ha.
The TOB rents a technical base and a covered storage area. These buildings are located on the estate. The TOB has all the necessary equipment for soil conditioning, sowing, crops phytosanitary protection, and harvesting.
The equipment is based on 5 recent tractors, one-pass seeder/stubble mulch drill, trailers, combine harvester Class Lexion 480. There is also some stubble ploughing and sugar beet harvesting equipment. This equipment is in good working condition. It has been imported, and cleared through customs. This is available and free for sale (more than 3 years holding in Ukraine) A list is attached to this document. Part of the equipment is already available.
