Description CriticalMath.com is a unique online service for the academic and scholarly community. Our web-based application allows scholarly journals, like the ISA's International Studies Quarterly or the AICPA's Journal of Accountancy accept manuscripts online, distribute them to peer-reviewers, receive feedback, send correspondence, make informed decisions on what to publish, and publish online. We have also recently began developing a conference management component of the system.
CriticalMath.com is the only free system of its kind, and it generates revenue via advertisers and expanded services, like additional disk space. The conference management component of our system charges 4.5% per registration. The system is designed upon PHP/MySQL and hosted by a third party. Our platform overhead is less than $1,000 annually, and our only out of pocket expenses are for coding and design. We currently have 23 journals registered, who collectively manage a pool of over 6,000 authors and reviewers around the world. Viral marketing and SEO is built into the system, as well.
