New built bitumen storage facility for sale with a total capacity of 16.200 m3
consisting of two tanks of 7.500 m3 each and three tanks of 400 m3 each.
The terminal is located in South Eastern region of Romania, on the shore
of Danube - Black Sea Canal, 37.5 Km from the port of Constanta, the
biggest port at the Black Sea. The company owning the terminal is now for sale! All the authorizations for operating the terminal are already issued. As described below, the business is one of the best at the time being, as Romania and local construction companies have a huge need of bitumen in the next years. The country will receive over 30 billion Euros from EU to build new highways and to modernize the existent road infrastructure. Many of the infrastructure projects are usually decelerated as the existing bitumen terminal in the area can not satisfy the demand. In terms of storage capacity, the new terminal is the second in the country, after the worse positioned terminal in the port of Mangalia (having a capacity of 20.000 m3).
Begin of Activity : It is a new facility; the activity did not yet start. The buyer is expected to assure the working capital and to put the terminal into function- As a EU member from 2007, Romania will receive structural financial aid of nearly EUR 32 bln during the period 2009 - 2013.
- Most of the funds will be available through the Cohesion Fund and structural funds offered for completion of transport related projects.
