Description Great business in Orange Beach, AL. We have been in the business for 16 years and in this location for 2. We also have greenhouses behind our home and find that we can no longer do both growing and retail operation.
Business has an awesome tourist business but great local and landscapers traffic as well. We have done our share of landscape jobs here, but it would be up to new owner to continue. Everything you need to continue to run and operate this shop is there. Fully stocked for fall and Christmas. We will be glad to teach new owners everything they need to know to continue to operate this shop with success, but it would be helpful if you had some knowledge of plants and flowers. We go to south FL to buy our tropicals, palms, etc. and buy all of our color hanging baskets and annuals, etc. locally (although we grew most of what we sold). We also go to Atlanta market at least twice a year and to Mexico for our imports (pottery, iron, and soooooo much more!). I will take you to all these places and teach you where and how to buy. This is a fun business but it is alot of work. your busy time is from March to Aug. with fall and Christmas not being too bad either. We close in Jan as this is when we do all our traveling to buy. Feb is used to clean up and get restocked. We are ready to sell and will make a great deal to the right person. We are in hopes that we can continue to sell this shop the plant materials that we grow.
