In 2005, Clark Foam, the largest surfboard foam blank supplier in the world shut down it's Southern California manufacturing operations, leaving a void in the market of over 350,000 foam blanks per year. We immediately entered the market by hiring industry experts to build and reproduce the top 5 selling foam blanks. We spent over $8,000 per production mold to get exact specs and reproductions of these foam blank molds. The mold sizes are the 6'2C fish blank, 6'7''R shortboard blank, 6'9''A blank, 7'11''R blank, and a 6'4'' lightweight R&D travel mold. All of these molds have been build using a high heat Epoxy, they are female production molds to produce the exact specs of the original Clark Foam sizes stated above. We have rolls of all the air release papers that are needed and also 5 gallon samples of the MDI surfboard Foam part A and part B chemistry.
