Description The Company is a Temporary Nurse Staffing Agency for sale that was started in 1996 to provide professional, reliable, and highly skilled registered nurses to leading hospitals on a Contract or Per Diem basis in the Washington, DC - Baltimore region and Contract Travel assignments nationwide. Presently, nearly all the business is with hospitals with roughly 60% on a contract basis and 40% on a per diem basis. The company recruits the best nurses and prides itself on its ability to respond quickly with the right nurse for the right position. The company is a small but well established player in a growth industry located in one of the best geographic regions in the United States and is well positioned to grow given the appropriate direction, drive and resources. Despite a sharp reduction in demand among its client base due to a steep drop in hospital census in 2008 and into 2009, management believes growth will come from a combination of economic recovery and company initiatives into such areas as bringing in new hospital accounts, expansion into home health care, staffing of allied health fields and moving into permanent placements of specialized healthcare positions. In response to the downturn in sales, management has aggressively cut costs to maintain profitability.
