Description Until now, tweens and women with a passion for fashion had zero options for designing their own clothing online. Prior to the advent of Total Fashion Fun (totalfashionfun.com), the online universe was limited to the following:
1. A gazillion fashion design games that users can play on-line. Once the game ends, the brief thrill dies and the clothing design is nothing more than a picture on the computer screen. The user is left with the bitter taste that is the unhappy by-product of (a) a wistful memory of what could have been, combined with (b) the certainty that it never will, in fact, be.
2. Countless clothing retailers, such as Nordstroms or The Children's Place, geared towards women and girls, that allow customer to buy clothes designed by others.
3. A small handful of websites that claim to allow for custom clothing, but in fact rigidly limit users to selecting, for example, pre-chosen t-shirt screens for limited placement on clothing. Totally boring and not even mildly innovative. Some might even find it insulting.
Total Fashion Fun (TFF) is the first website of its kind that allows users to truly and actively design their own clothes, and then order their clothing designs in their size. The clothes arrive at the user's door within a week. Every design is an original. It's rather mind-blowing if you think about it. A 10-year-old girl or 28-year-old woman can access the website, select the outline of a shirt (or pants, dress, skirt or pajamas), and then click and drag wildly different and gorgeous fabrics and accessories onto different parts of the clothing.
During the design process, the clothing item is smack in middle of the screen, in a super user-friendly workspace. The user can make each sleeve a different color, for example, and the body of the shirt an entirely other color. Then, she can click on a huge variety of gorgeous accessories, and place them anywhere she'd like on the clothing. The options are seriously limitless.
