Description Partial buy-in currently being explored by a successful westside hardwood flooring company. The company recognizes the benefit of a qualified and motivated experienced sales professional, however they are not willing at this time to take on such a large risk, i.E. The risk the employee would not produce for the first six months, the risk the employee would tire of the difficult market and change careers etc.
Essentially what the company is looking for is an experienced and qualified sales vp who will hustle and go get additional clients on a commission split basis with the company. If this candidate has some ''skin in the game'' in the form of an investment in the firm, there is a much higher likelihood that performance-based sales and rewards for the individual and the company will overlap and create a synergistic relationship. Therefore only those individuals who are stable financially, (a $20k minimum capital injection is requested) will be qualified and allowed to pursue a partnership. $20,000 is equivalent to a 5% buy-in for the company, higher equity positions, and including a complete buyout are possible after due diligence on both sides. 5% of the company means a 5% dividend and return on the profits of the company. So, if the net profit of the firm is 200,000 and you own 5%, you would get a payout of $10,000 per year on your 5% purchase into the firm year over year as long as you remained an active sales player and were a productive member of the organization. This is in addition to your sales revenue and commission split revenue you obtain as an active sales professional within the organization.
NDA is required along with an interview by a member of the board of directors. You will also have a full time vice-president (sales) position within the company, not for passive investors!
