Description Four exercise clubs for sale, operated by Managementon behalf of absentee owner. One additional license also included. Outstanding franchise system with excellent business model, state of the art equipment, all virtually new. Electronic operations for security, access, and all attendant services with virtually no staff requirements except for sales. Licenses were purchased as an investment and development process is nearly complete. Owner has other business interests and plans to retire.
Price calculation was based on standard suggestion of 10 times monthly revenues plus equipment. Clubs were opened sequentially beginning in 2006 and final club opened in end of 2007. Four locations with four separate leases. Each site approximately 2600 to 4200 square feet. All locations are in relatively brand new centers on key roadways and boulevards in smaller, rapidly growing communities. Lease costs vary from site to site but all but one are locally controlled and transfers, assignments or negotiated new leases should be routine.
There are 8 to 12 employees. Employees are college-educated, commissioned salespeople hired to sell and promote the clubs, not sit and answer the phone or hand out towels. Most are also personal trainers who receive on-going sales training from the Management team.
